AniQuiz started with a simple idea: combining pub quizzes and anime and turn them into a night the Dutch anime community could really enjoy. The Netherlands has an amazing, growing fanbase, and we wanted to add something new to the mix: a relaxed, social space where people can come together over the shows they love.

We’re just three friends who decided to make it happen. We had an idea, reached out to each other, and suddenly we were building quizzes, finding venues, and creating the kind of event we always wished existed.

Our quiz nights pop up in cafés, bars, and small venues across the Netherlands. We build every round ourselves, pulling from iconic scenes, deep cuts, and the shows everyone’s currently obsessed with. It’s competitive in a fun way, but it’s really about the atmosphere: easygoing, social, and full of excited chatter between questions. 

Aniquiz is our way of giving the community a space that feels warm, familiar, and a little nostalgic, while also supporting local artists.
